Pecha Kucha night is an open mic night for designers/artists/photographers/etc to share their projects, inspirations or dreams with the world. Each speaker gets 20 images to display and 20 seconds to talk about each image. Its a casual atmosphere for the creative class to converge and converse. Come enjoy one of the three nights.

AIGA is hosting a student mixer in SF this thursday in San Francisco. The event is free for all AIGA student members and $5 to non-members. Food and drinks will be provided. Get a few friends hop in the car pool lane and mix it up. Link below to info page.

Capital Creative Collective will be hosting Sacramento's first ever Battle for the Capital. Local designers, architects and artists will compete in live design challenges. Saturday at the MARRS building in downtown Sacramento (20th & Jst).
