A few questions with Joel Felix—CSUS Alum—Designer for The University Union
What is your philosophy?
Never stop learning or challenging yourself as a designer. Don't be afraid to learn something new or try different techniques of solving a problem. "If you don't use it, you lose it."
What do you value most in design?
I would have to say that I value the creative process. It can be both linear and organic and if allowed to do it's thing it can lead you to some pretty interesting solutions.
